The position sensors consist of an OMRON turret-head block with roller arm (see performance below), and a cam which when appropriately set shows the position of the arms, all contained in a protective housing. The pre-set axes for assembly are: 2 vertical rotation axes. These sensors are used to signal when the articulated arm is out of position, to avoid hindering or harming the advancement of an assembly line or other moving parts.
