Pneumatic workbench Articulated arms

These arms, quite similar to those with a gas balancing unit, can be run by pneumatic circuits which allow the balancing force to vary during the work cycle. This may be necessary when an downward push must be applied onto screwdrivers (self threaded screw insertion) or tapping machines.

The force of the downward push is adjustable, and the switch from a balancing condition to a drive is subject to a bimanual command for safety reasons. The arms may be equipped with one or two balancing units, complete
with a regulation valve that is designed to balance a constant load. The balancing unit is able to maintain a setting with great precision for an indefinite period of time.
